Rycardon® and CoRycardon ® have been launched in the Cyprus in the beginning of the current year (January 2011).

These products are a valuable addition to AEGIS’ Cardiovascular and Metabolism (CVM) portfolio. Both Rycardon^® and CoRycardon^® are used in the treatment of essential hypertension;
Rycardon^® is also indicated for the treatment of renal disease in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus.

CoRycardon^® is a combination of an angiotensin-II receptor antagonist, irbesartan, and a thiazide diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide. This fixed dose combination is indicated in adult patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone.
